Mobile Powered Access Engineer / Inspector – Newmarket or Harlow Depots

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Experience with diesel / petrol engines, hydraulic machinery and electrics.
• Undertake pre-hire inspections, scheduled servicing and repairs to a comprehensive range of Plant Hire & Access equipment
• Support our customers when their powered access machines require attention or certification.
• Ensure tablet-based job records, pre hire records and all associated records are completed promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure health & safety and company procedures are met at all times.
• Be reactive and punctual at all times.
• Have the ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team.

EXPERIENCE

• Preferably holder of current IPAF CAP Certificate for examining powered access with a minimum of categories 1b – 3a – 3b
• Applicants without CAP certificate, but with a proven track record in powered access, could potentially be suitable for the role, with NPH putting the suitable person forward for training to IPAF CAP standard
• Previous experience with Nifty Lift, Hinowa, Genie & Manitou machines
• CSCS card holder is advantageous
• Full UK driving licence (2 years driving experience required)
